Karen J. Bellamy, Founder/Owner of KJB Associates, LLC is a veteran in the world of business and advocates for community causes. Growing up in New Haven, Connecticut, Karen was intensely focused and committed to making life better for herself, her family and community.

Working for several small to mid-size companies, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente and Fleet Bank for more than 15 years fueled the dream to start her own business. Knowing and believing that anything was possible allowed her to recognize and seize the opportunity which is exactly what she has done.

Owner of KJB Associates, LLC, an insurance agency providing more than 20 years of products and services. KJB Associates, LLC partners with a multitude of companies to ensure the best solutions can be secured for their clients. The company is registered and certified to conduct business across the State of Connecticut. Clients range from individuals to mid-size companies, including churches and organizations. Karen has taken a special interest in helping women business owners understand the role that financial products can play in not only supporting the growth of a business but securing its future. The primary objective for KJB Associates, LLC is to develop and nurture partnerships that will help set the pace to move KJB Associates, LLC to a higher level. This experience combined with Karen’s commitment for making life better for herself, her family and community set the stage for her passion in continuing to be a service to her community in her personal life.

Karen attended Southern Connecticut State University and Tuck School of Business at Darthmouth, Building a High Performing Business Certification Program. In addition to Fairfield University’s Business leadership Program.
